Some tips for your safety in work

If we will start the job, think about the following safety tips:

1. The equipment you use must function properly. If doesn’t, don’t use it, and then make sure your leader/supervisor also know it.
2. The tools that you use must be the proper one for your job. If you improvise, it must be done in a safe and acceptable manner.
3. Don’t make a lift speculating that everything is OK. Check it out and ask question. If needed, ask the leader/supervisor for his help.
4. Do not break into a room/place without being informed of its condition and personally checked on its safety.
5. Do not work or repair on mechanical equipment unless you know that the power source is locked and tagged out.
6. Plan your job. Put some thought in to the best way of doing it. Keep in focus.
7. Hindsight is some of value, but foresight has considerable value.
8. Nobody can help you to solve problem if you keep to yourself.

Develop a positive attitude toward safety. There’s no grey area in safety. It’s safe or unsafe!
